Custom Copper fitting with Tai Lue double edge style blade

An experimental piece we did with a new craftsperson specializing in hand made traditional fitting.
A standard spring steel blade clad in copper fitting with lotus pommel cap. And a  teak wood scabbard in copper fitting.
The fittings are all handmade using traditional method.

As for the blade style is a Tai Lue (ไทลื้อ) with pronounced central ridge with lotus tip profile and a double edge. (Please note the back edge is not sharpened fully)
The blade type is really rare and usually found in small amounts of antique collections.
